Please plan to come to another great monthly NSFA social get together. This month we will be hosting the Larry Finch Fish Fry. Larry will provide us the fish as well as a side of shrimp. Please come join us.
There will be a New Members table and an ambassador to make you and yours welcome if you are newcomers to the group.

Reservations are required!!! Sign up by 6:00 PM on Monday, October 25th.
- Bring your own PPE including but not limited to masks, gloves, and sanitizer.
- Bring your own disposable tablecloth.
- Bring your own utensils, plateware, and napkins.
- Bring your own condiments and garnishes.
- Attendees are responsible for removing their food items and disposing trash in supplied trash cans that are to remain at least 6 feet away from any table.
We could use some volunteers to make this event successful:
5pm - Someone to blow off entire picnic area and wipe down tables
6:30 - 2 Servers assist with plating and serving dinner.
8:30 - Trash
Anyone who has symptoms (i.e., fever, cough, or shortness of breath) should stay home—DO NOT COME TO SOCIAL.
These socials are BYOB of your beverage of choice. No drinks are provided.
We will also have a guest speakers at this month's event. Jill Christoferson Florida FWC Biological Scientist and Erika Burgess will bring us a program on the Redfish Summit, the effects size and quantity could have on our area. This talk will be gin at 6pm
UPDATE: “Wishing you a Fishy Christmas!”
This year we will be decorating a NSFA Fishy Christmas Tree – and it’s up to you members to bring your decorations to the Holiday Social for the ornament contest. We will award prizes for your Fishing Themed ornaments in three categories:
- · Funniest
- · Most Holiday Spirit
- · Most Creative
There will be prizes….so start planning your ornaments. The NSFA Tree will be displayed at a local public venue (location is TBA) so consider your ornament a donation as we can’t guarantee their return, or you can take your ornament with you after the social.
To make our NSFA Tree unique and personalized we are having a “craft table” at the NSFA social on Oct. 27th during the table talk. Your cheerful NSFA Elves will have all the supplies to decorate ornaments for our tree. See our website for more details.
