This session will provide saltwater fly fishermen with more insight and practice techniques about the sport.  We will cover hauling, distance casting, mending, curve casting, casting from the bow of a boat and more.  Our presenter will be certified fly casting instructor, Captain Lawrence Piper.  You can learn more about Captain Piper and his expertise at his web site : http://www.theanglersmark.com/

Captain Piper want's to have the opportunity for more one on one time with participants so attendance is limited to 12 anglers. This is a class.  You should bring your fly fishing equipment.  Capt. Piper will also have several rods available.

Captain Piper loves the sport of fly fishing and wants to pass along that passion to you!  He has coached Little League softball and YMCA basketball and taught fishing classes at our local college campus.  We'll go over the equipment, grip and stance, and the essentials of what it takes to make a good fly cast.  Then we will share some good practice techniques that you can take home with you and you'll be throwing tight loops before you know it!

You must register so we can contact you if there is a cancellation due to weather or other causes.

We are asking people to bring lawn chairs.  We will have some water and sodas at the session.

If you have any suggestions for this outing of any kind please let us know at Send Us an Email.

Here are directions to the marina parking lot : Google Maps  We will be in the grassy area south of Atlantic Seafood near the dock ramps to the boat slips.
