N.S.F.A. and its corporate partner the Fernandina Beach News Leader have come together to expand the annual trout tournament this year. It will consist of two divisions that are both open to the public.
The "Bridge" Division This will be strictly for kids who must be accompanied by an adult, fishing off the George Crady Bridge Fishing Pier located on the south end of Amelia Island.
The "Boats" Division This part of the tournament will be for those anglers who may enter their kids and/or themselves. Any angler can compete in the "Boats" division.
Youth winners will be determined from 1st through 10th place in each Division.
There will be twenty trophies in all and the first fifty (50) youth contestants to weigh-in or check-in will also be awarded a free fishing rod and reel when trophies are handed out. In addition, all youth contestants regardless of how many enter, will receive a Certificate of Participation for competing in the event.
